FAQs

  • What conditions do you treat?

At Resilience Chiropractic in Rohnert Park, we treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including neck pain, low back pain, muscle spasm, strains and sprains, rotator cuff injuries, knee injuries, ankle sprains, headaches, sciatica, numbness and tingling, tennis elbow, and carpal tunnel syndrome and more. We also work with people who aren't in pain but want to get stronger, move better, and build a consistent foundation for their long term health. If you're feeling overwhelmed by everything you see online and don't know where to start, that's exactly what we're here for.

  • Do you take insurance?

We are a cash-based chiropractic practice in Rohnert Park, which means we don't bill insurance directly.  This allows us to spend more time with you, build a treatment plan around what actually helps, and make decisions based on your needs, not a billing code. We are happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

  • Do I need to be in pain to come in?

Not at all. Our Rohnert Park chiropractic office works with people at every stage. Some of our best work happens before pain starts. If you want to move better, get stronger, or feel more confident in your body, there's a place for you here.

  • What is Resilience Coaching and how is it different from regular chiropractic care?

Resilience Coaching is a hybrid program that combines in-person care with personalized programming through our app. You get a clear plan built around your goals, step by step exercise and movement programming with easy to follow instructions, habit tracking, accountability, and direct communication with your provider between sessions. It's flexible and built to evolve as you do.

  • How long will it take to feel better?

There is no magic number. How quickly you progress depends on a range of factors including how long the issue has been there, your overall health, sleep, stress, activity levels, and how your body responds to treatment. We monitor your progress closely and modify your plan along the way so you are always moving in the right direction.

  • What should I expect at my first visit?

At Resilience Chiropractic and Coaching your first appointment is a full hour. We start with a thorough history covering your story, your symptoms, and your goals. From there we move into a comprehensive physical exam to assess how you move and identify what's contributing to your pain. Most patients receive hands-on treatment at their very first visit.

  • Do I need to be a Centerline 33 member to see you?

No membership required. Resilience Chiropractic is located inside Centerline 33 but we are open to everyone. You don't need to be a member of the facility to book an appointment with us.

  • What is Apex Wellness Group?

Apex Wellness Group is our wellness partnership based inside Centerline 33. Through Apex you have access to skilled massage therapists in the same building. One team, one roof, one goal. Visit www.sonomacountywellness.com to learn more or book a massage.

  • What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move in.

  • Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes. Chiropractic care is one of the most researched and widely used forms of musculoskeletal treatment. At Resilience Chiropractic we use evidence-based techniques tailored to your body and comfort level. If you have specific concerns we will always discuss them before beginning treatment.

  • Do I need x-rays before my first visit?

Not necessarily. X-rays are not required to begin care and in many cases are not needed at all. A thorough history and physical exam gives us the information we need to get started. If imaging is indicated based on your symptoms or history we will let you know and refer you to the appropriate provider.

It's also worth noting that X-rays show a static image of your spine at one moment in time. They don't tell us how you move, how your muscles are functioning, or what's actually contributing to your pain. The idea that you need to see your spine to "fix your alignment" is a common myth. Your body is not a fixed structure that gets out of place, it's a dynamic system that responds to movement, load, stress, and lifestyle. That's what we actually assess and address.
